伦敦大学Queen Mary学院教授Marian Hobson女士来我系为研究生做了“Radical Enlightenment”的学术演讲。Marian Hobson教授以研究法国哲学，特别是德里达见长，1999年当选为英国科学院（the British Academy）院士，在法国也颇有声誉（Made a member of the jury senior for 1999 and 2000 of the Institut universitaire de France, which distributes major grants to academics across all subjects；Member and elected Président, Conseil scientifique du Collège international de philosophie 1994-1999）。
