You need JavaScript enabled to view it Lin Ma received her Ph.D. and M.A. (magna cum laude) in philosophy at the Higher Institute of Philosophy, K. U. Leuven (Belgium), and B.A. in English Language and Literature as well as B.A. in Intercultural Communication at Beijing University. She specializes in Continental European philosophy, Wittgenstein and comparative philosophy.Lin Ma is the author of Heidegger on East-West Dialogue:Anticipating the Event (New York/ London: Routledge, 2007). In recent years she has published 30 research papers, some of which appeared in such renowned international journals as Journal of the British Society for Phenomenology, Journal of Chinese Philosophy, Asian Philosophy, and Philosophy East and West. In addition, she has presented papers at academic meetings in Austria, Germany, Denmark, England, Estonia, the United States, Canada, Hongkong and Taiwan. Among the courses she has taught are “German Philosophical Texts (BA)”, “Western Philosophical Wisdom (BA, bilingual course)”, “Environmental Ethics (BA)”, “History of Western Philosophy (BA)”, “Heidegger Studies (MA)”, “Husserl Studies (PhD seminar)”, and “Fundamentals of Comparative Philosophy (Renda International Summer School)”.
