Sun Yi, born in Xi’an in 1961, now married. Since 1998 to 2001, studied in the Department of Philosophy, Peking University, and got Ph.D. there. Now is an associate professor in Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, Renmin University of China since 2001. Main study fields are the Study of New Testament and Study of Modern Christian Thought. Two books published are The Single Individual, and Introduction to Bible, also about thirty academic papers. Main courses taught in recent years are History of Christian Thought, Classic Works of Christian Thought, Introduction of Bible, Some Topics in Biblical Studies. Being visiting scholar in several universities abroad, as in Regent College, Canada, Helsinki University, Chinese University of Hong Kong.
