GUO Zhan, born in October, 1945 in Hailun, Heilongjiang, Professor and doctoral tutor in School of Philosophy, Renmin University of China, majoring in Marxist Philosophy and mainly researching in epistemology, view of history and view of culture.
Academic Experience:
In 1969, Graduated from Department of Philosophy, Jilin University, received B.A. Degree;
In 1981, Graduated from Department of Philosophy, Renmin University of China, received M.A. Degree of Philosophy;
In 1989, Graduated from Department of Philosophy, Renmin University of China, received Ph.D. Degree of Philosophy;
Working in Renmin University of China from 1981 on, won the honor of the outstanding contributor between Ph.D. receivers in 1991, became a professor in 1992 and enjoyed the government’s special subsidy;
Once been the vice-Chief and then Chief of Reaching and Research Section of Marxism Philosophy, Department of Philosophy, Renmin University of China;
Now holding the post of Chief Editor of Journal of Renmin University of China and the vice-president of Dialectical Materialism Research Association of China.
